Biggest thing for matching numbers is value of being original. My pre import ban, matching Russian mosin is worth a lot more than my mismatched norinco sks from a pawn shop.

Both of which means it handles recoil better than its sexier sister. It might not have 30 rounds on tap, but this is still not insignificant. This is a dumb question but I’m just curious. It’s possibly produced in Russia for civilians still, I would guess that Molot has one of the most recently produced models.
